Men and women who are overweight or obese in their forties have a greater risk of developing Alzheimer's disease later in life, according to a large new study from California. The findings, presented at the American Academy of Neurology's 58th Annual Meeting in San Diego earlier this month, add to a growing body of medical evidence about the perils of excess pounds.
